 State of Missouri Data Center
BDY won the prestigious commission to design the new Data Center and Print Center for the State of Missouri. The 140,000 SF facility will house all data processing and printing functions for State Departments. It will have a secure, environmentally controlled, raised floor area for the computer mainframes and redundant electrical, mechanical and communication systems.
The Print Center will include a full, high-bay production workspace with high-efficiency air filtering and dust collection. Supporting office space employs indirect lighting and natural lighting and underfloor distribution of heating and air conditioning with individual workstation controls for greater comfort and efficiency.
Both the Data Center and Print Center will be equipped with an emergency power generation system and UPS system. Design development has been completed and approved. The project is currently awaiting approval of funding for construction.
