	The Bluffs Boone County The Boone Retirement Center known as The Bluffs is a 122-bed skilled nursing facility designed to serve the needs of Columbia, Missouri. The 68,000 SF complex includes facilities for both skilled nursing and assisted living residents and is located on a heavily-wooded site featuring a lake. The assisted living portion is divided into two pods of 24 units each. It includes separate dining rooms, activity rooms, and outdoor gardens. The skilled nursing portion includes the main dining room and a central kitchen that also serves the assisted living dining rooms. It includes exam rooms, a dentist office, rehabilitation rooms, and physical and occupational therapy spaces. Common areas in the facility feature vaulted ceilings and skylights. The exterior of the complex is accented in brick. Site design includes a circle drop-off at the main entrance and requisite parking.
